This is a map I made for dancer and performance artist Joe Garbett. It’s a giant 5 metre by 4 metre roll-up floor map that Joe wanted for one of his interactive performance pieces called “Get Lost”. The brief was for a hand-drawn fun map that was reminiscent of a local UK outdoor maps, full of names and features that people could be asked to find, but all made-up.

The final version was a hand drawn vector so that it could be scaled up without loss of detail.
