This is a new style for me – the client wanted the garden map I’d created as a simpler more fun version – more accessible for children to use.

We chose to highlight the paths and the destinations rather than be totally accurate to the actual layout of the garden. The positions of the points of interest are still roughly proportional, the POIs themselves are simplified and enlarged, and the general trees and bushes are more subtle to lessen the clutter.

I’ve kept the colours subdued as bright colours can be overwhelming.
