A lovely wooded public park in Flintshire not far from the North Wales coast.

A challenge to portray the layout and paths clearly but to also using shading to show the sides of the gorge.

I also had the opportunity to highlight a few of the main features of the area with vignettes.

This map is used on a large foldout leaflet given away at the visitor centre.

Unusually the map doesn’t point north as this angle shows the layout better and places the entrance in a more logical position.
